Location: Town of Wausau

Position Title: Temporary Quality Inspector

Wage: $19.00/Hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM

Detail-oriented and quality-focused manufacturing professional seeking a temporary Quality Assurance Inspector position. Experienced in inspecting products, reading blueprints, and verifying measurements using tape measures and calipers. Known for strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to identify quality issues. Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Temporary Quality Inspector Responsibilities
  • Perform quality inspections on manufactured parts and assemblies
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Verify dimensions using measuring tools including calipers and tape measures
  • Identify and document quality issues or non-conforming products
  • Work closely with production personnel to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Assist with other quality-related tasks as assigned
Requirements For Temporary Quality Inspector
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Experience using calipers and other measuring instruments
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Manufacturing or quality assurance experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary (most lifting involves lightweight parts and components)
  • Ability to perform repetitive inspection and measurement tasks
  • Manufacturing environment
  • Fast‑paced setting requiring consistent attention to detail and quality standards
