$36 - $40/hr + Overtime (1.5x over 40 hrs) + Union Pension + Full Benefits

Description:
Heavy Structural Steel Fabrication (Major Infrastructure Projects)
Key Responsibilities:- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of fabricated steel components in a high-output production environment
- Verify weld quality and compliance with WPS and applicable AWS codes (D1.1 / D1.5 where applicable)
- Support monitoring of welding processes and basic fabrication quality controls
- Conduct or assist with non-destructive testing methods (VT, MT, PT, UT where certified)
- Maintain accurate QC documentation and support inspection hold points with internal/external inspectors
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues in real time and keep workflow moving
- Ensure fabricated components meet strict structural and safety requirements
- AWS CWI or ASNT VT Level II (or willingness to obtain through company-supported certification pathway)
- Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols and fabrication drawings
- Detail-focused with solid measurement and inspection skills
- Comfortable working in a heavy industrial steel fabrication environment

Schedule:- Mon-Thu: 3:45pm - 3:15am
- Fri: 3:45pm - 8:45pm
- Total: 51 hours/week
