Position Overview

Overhead Door Company of Wausau is a trusted leader in residential and commercial door solutions, proudly serving Central and Northern Wisconsin. Our team takes pride in delivering top-quality products, expert installation, and exceptional customer service. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Sales Representative to join our team and help grow our commercial division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients, contractors, and construction professionals.
  • Prepare bids, quotes, and proposals for commercial projects.
  • Conduct job site visits to assess project requirements and take accurate measurements when needed.
  • Collaborate with the operations and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and local market outreach.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, project documentation, and pipeline tracking through CRM systems.
  • Stay current on product knowledge, pricing, and industry trends.
  • Represent Overhead Door Company of Wausau professionally at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in B2B or construction sales (preferably in overhead doors, building materials, or a related industry).
  • Strong understanding of the commercial construction process and reading blueprints/spec sheets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and general computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Overhead Door products or similar commercial door systems.
  • Experience estimating and bidding commercial projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
