Work-Study​/Student - Security

This is a paid position through work‑study or student employment. It provides students a chance to grow in leadership, professional, and soft skills and includes security duties on campus. The position reports to the Director, Safety & Security, and is paid at a rate of $15.00 per hour.

• Provide security duties as assigned.
• Assist students, staff, and the public as needed on the NTC campus in a professional manner.

• Active student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester.
• Must be enrolled in the Criminal Justice program and have completed the Professional Communications class.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet NTC insurance carrier standards.
• Must meet physical demands described below.
• Students may not work in Federal Work‑Study positions during scheduled class times.
• Eligible to work up to 20 hours per week.
