Overview
The Aerial Foreman builds and maintains aerial communication systems. The Aerial Foreman will primarily work with overhead structures and occasionally work with various underground structures. Projects vary from rural to metro areas. The responsibility of the Aerial Foreman is to oversee, train, and supervise all Aerial Lineman and Aerial Groundman.

Physical and Environmental Factors- Be physically capable of climbing poles and traversing uneven ground conditions.
- Be capable of working outside and in adverse weather conditions.
- Capable of working long hours in emergency situations.

- Planning and executing projects.
- Conforming to NESC Electrical Codes along with OSHA and customer safety requirements.
- Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades.
- Supervising crew of Lineman and Groundman.
- Training and mentoring of employees assigned to jobs.
- Tree trimming or route clearing.
- Use of and care of specialized hand tools and equipment.
- Operating equipment such as Digger and Bucket Truck.
- Tow various trailers with trucks.
- Identify ways of continuous improvement of processes and procedures that will elevate the company, as a whole.
- Responsible for redlines, as builts, daily production reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Work Experience: Five (5) years of demonstrated leadership experience working alongside Lineman teams.
- Knowledge of aerial procedures, pole-line materials, the proper and safe use of tools and equipment used in aerial line construction and maintenance.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to maintain equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Abide all company and manufacturer safety procedures and industry safety standards, in addition to attending mandatory safety meetings.
- Valid Driver’s License, Class A CDL preferred.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
