Senior Field Service Technician

We are looking for a Senior Field Service Technician to report to our Wausau, WI location and service our water treatment equipment at customer sites in the surrounding area.

The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle. Specific training will be provided. Candidates with a valid driving license and previous technical, mechanical, or plumbing experience are especially encouraged to apply.

This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons or weekends.

The estimated salary range for this position starts at $30/hour to $35/hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills and experience. • HS diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years technical experience preferred – industrial or commercial process water experience is a plus
• Service and repair knowledge of electrical equipment
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electric controls and related industrial equipment
• Experience with variable frequency drives and PLC controls preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to utilize smart devices
• Ability to work in a high customer-facing position
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Travel is required: 50% or more daily travel, typically from home.
