Plumber’s Helper​/General Laborer; Underground & Excavation Support

About the Role

ter Plumbing, we don't just fix pipes-we solve problems from start to finish. As a Plumbers' Helper / General Laborer, you'll play a critical role supporting our underground and excavation team, helping deliver complete plumbing solutions to our customers.

This is a hands-on, physical position for someone who takes pride in hard work, shows up every day ready to go, and wants to build a long-term career in the trades.

• Assist with excavation and underground plumbing projects
• Operate basic tools and equipment (shovels, compactors, etc.)
• Dig, backfill, and support trenching operations
• Load/unload materials and maintain job site organization
• Support pipe repairs, sewer replacements, and trenchless prep work
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
• Work alongside experienced plumbers and technicians to learn the trade

• Strong work ethic—you show up and get it done
• Comfortable with physical labor in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
• Dependable and punctual (this is non-negotiable)
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Valid driver's license preferred
