Maintenance Technician

Veritas Steel LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facilities producing complex steel bridge and structural components. In this role, you will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems on fabrication and material handling equipment. You'll perform preventive maintenance, support equipment installations, document work in CMMS, and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Working in a safety first, team oriented environment, you'll help drive reliability, quality, and continuous improvement in our production operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose and repair basic electrical and control issues
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and maintain accurate records
• Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout, and OSHA/plant standards
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams on reliability improvements
• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities in maintenance practices
