The Impact You'll Make in this Role As an Electrician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Responding to shop work orders in performing maintenance and repair tasks in a safe manner
• Implementing and improving preventive maintenance procedures
• Determining parts, tools, and supplies necessary for the jobs
• Documenting work activities in the work order SAP
• Being willing to learn and expand craft skills

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Possess a valid and current driver's license
• Three (3) years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Ability to work overtimes, weekends, short notice coverage as business arise, rotating shifts (1st – 2nd), and holidays as needed.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Ability to obtain Wisconsin Journeyman electrician license within established period OR possess a current and valid Wisconsin Journeyman electrician certificate or license
• Experience working with PLCs and process controls
• Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals and troubleshooting problems to make adjustments and repairs
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with other people
• Basic computer knowledge

Pay & Benefits:

• The starting rate of pay for this position is $40.02 + shift differential. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
