We are currently looking to fill a seasonal Overnight Shift Lead Staff position at the Good Shepherd Shelter in Wausau working with our community homeless population. The Lead Staff would assist in the operations and provide shift supervision, support, and training to volunteers during the evening shifts. Ideal candidates will possess excellent decision making & interpersonal skills. Be recognized as a leader and respond to urgent and/or unexpected situations.
Prior experience with the homeless or vulnerable preferred.
April-November:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays every other Saturday and Sunday, with one on-call weekend per month | 10:00 pm – 5:00 am
Tuesdays, Thursdays every other Saturday and Sunday, with one on-call weekend per month | 10:00 pm – 5:00 am
This shift comes with a $3 shift differential. Trainings will be held in September and October leading up to the shelter season.
