Software Engineer
All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to United Health Group's Telecommuter Policy.
Primary Responsibilities- Solid understanding of software engineering processes:
Design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile and dev-ops - Analyze business requirements to develop database solutions for Health Care and Reporting systems
- Provide support for Service Availability, Stability & application performance
- Resolve production issues by code debugging, analyzing logs, perform reverse engineering to find the root cause and suggest permanent fix within
- SLA (Service Level Agreement)
- Available for production deployments/troubleshooting during off hours/weekends
- 5+ years of experience in Mainframe technologies (FSE)
- 5+ years of experience with JCL, COBOL
- 5+ years of experience with DB2, SQL
- 5+ years of experience with CICS, API
- 5+ years of experience in REXX
- 4+ years of experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban principles
- 4+ years of knowledge of Airflow or TWSd batch jobs
- 4+ years of experience in managing code migration through the various stages for the release

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
