ResponsibilitiesThis job requires the ability to work productively while accurately navigating the assigned route(s) or in the shop. Drivers will be expected to: complete route(s) in a reasonable amount of time, pick up mail from customers in a professional manner, and report all requests and concerns made by customers each day. When at the shop, drivers should be loading/unloading UMS vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
Please note, some routes have heavy volumes of mail, which may require the driver to lift, load, and unload several containers of mail on a daily basis. Drivers are representing themselves and UMS to customers by providing quality customer service. This is a driver and mail processing position. Once the route is complete, the driver will be a mail processor until work is complete.
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with good Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to lift 10-15 lb. containers repetitively
- Ability to drive safely and confidently in all weather conditions
- Ability to work standing and/or walking a production line for the entire shift
- Ability to remove mail from processing equipment to place in containers and package containers, which involve twisting and turning of the upper body and grasping and holding handfuls of mail
- Hours:
2:15 pm to 7:15 pm
Full-Time/Part-Time:
Part-Time. Shift: 2:15 pm to 7:15 pm. Starting wage: $14 per hour.
