The City of Wauwatosa is seeking an intern for its Finance Department to gain firsthand experience in public sector accounting and budgeting. This one-year internship offers flexible hours, ranging from 10 to 15 hours a week, with a pay rate of $16.88 per hour.
Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, assisting with accounting duties, and supporting treasury activities. Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accounting program and demonstrate strong mathematical and communication skills. Additional familiarity with Microsoft Office and accounting software is preferred.
