The Project Coordinator – Generators supports the Generators Department by managing project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring clear communication between internal teams, vendors, and customers. This role is essential to keeping generator projects organized, on track, and executed to company standards.
Key Sub Tasks for the Project Coordinator Role- Coordinate and schedule generator assessments, installations, and inspections
- Process and qualify inbound generator leads and route them appropriately
- Manage generator project schedules and track milestones from sale through completion
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and vendor resources
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding scheduling, updates, and next steps
- Ensure permits, inspections, and required documentation are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate project records within CRM and internal systems
- Track project progress and provide updates to leadership
- Support a high level of customer satisfaction through organization and follow-through
- 2 or more years of experience in project coordination, service coordination, or sales coordination
- Experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical trades preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Experience with CRM systems, Service Titan preferred
- Blueprint reading or design mindset strongly preferred
- Dispatching or customer service background a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
