Position SummaryInCheck is seeking a Drug Testing & Occupational Health (DTOH) Specialist I/II to join our DTOH team. This position coordinates occupational health services, communicates with candidates, clinics, and clients, and helps ensure accurate and timely completion of service requests.
A significant part of this role involves actively participating on the DTOH call line and managing a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls throughout the day.
The position may be filled at the Specialist I or Specialist II level based on the selected candidate's experience.
What You'll Do- Communicate with clinics, candidates, and clients through the DTOH call line, handling both inbound and outbound calls throughout the day.
- Schedule and coordinate occupational health tests using InCheck technology and available resources.
- Manage assigned service requests through completion and ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and audit-ready documentation.
- Apply client-specific guidelines across assigned service areas.
- Respond to client and vendor inquiries to support quality and timely completion of reports.
- Resolve client and vendor issues and elevate or independently manage more complex situations as appropriate.
- Prepare detailed reports and assist with non-routine scenarios.
- Follow department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and tutorials.
- Support department documentation and other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency across multiple service areas beyond the foundational level.
- Independent handling of complex, escalated, or cross-functional cases.
- Strong judgment and confidence across service lines.
- Ability to serve as a subject matter resource for team members.
- Ability to balance higher-volume and more complex workloads.
- High school diploma and 2-3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a customer service-focused environment such as occupational health, employment screening, staffing, healthcare, or other professional services preferred.
- Experience with data entry preferred.
- Typing speed of 45+ WPM.
- Strong phone, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple detailed tasks and prioritize workload.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices.
- Ability to provide professional customer service and build relationships with candidates, clients, and vendors.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume environment with frequent phone and computer use.
- Ability to protect sensitive applicant and client information and maintain confidentiality.
Starting pay is $19.00 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on relevant experience and the level at which the candidate is hired.
