Position ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver standards-based ELA instruction for middle school students (grades 6–8), integrating reading, writing, grammar, speaking, and listening.
Foster a classroom environment that promotes respect, engagement, critical thinking, and creativity.
Utilize data to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners.
Collaborate with middle school team members, including departmental planning and cross-curricular integration.
Communicate regularly and effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, liturgies, and other community events.
Model Catholic values and actively support the mission of Christ King Parish School.
Bachelor’s degree in Education or English (Master’s preferred)
Valid Wisconsin teaching license or ability to obtain
Experience teaching at the middle school level is strongly preferred
Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required
Passion for literacy and a commitment to fostering a love of reading and writing
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
Willingness to engage in continuous professional growth and contribute to a collaborative team
