The Wauwatosa School District is seeking a full‑time Curriculum + Instruction Coordinator to lead efforts in mathematics curriculum across grades K‑12. This position supports the implementation of K‑8 mathematics curriculum, with a primary focus during the 2026‑27 school year on the rollout and implementation of Amplify Desmos Math (Grades K‑5) and Illustrative Mathematics (Grades 6‑Integrated Math
1). Provides leadership in the development, design, refinement, and continuous improvement of additional mathematics courses and curriculum resources across the district.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Education;
Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction or related field required/preferred - Valid Wisconsin teaching and/or administrative certification (as appropriate)
- Minimum of 5‑7 years of successful teaching experience with demonstrated impact on student achievement
- Demonstrated system‑level leadership experience, including leading initiatives and managing change
- Deep expertise in content area standards, curriculum design, assessment systems, and effective instructional practices
- Experience leading curriculum development, including scope and sequence, articulated curriculum, and assessment design
- Strong understanding of adult learning and experience designing professional learning systems
- Proven ability to analyze and act on multiple data sources to drive program improvement
- Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to lead across roles, influence without direct authority, and build organizational capacity
- Strong organizational, strategic planning, and project management skills
- Commitment to equitable, student‑centered outcomes and continuous improvement
