- Without DPI License: $18.51/hour
- With DPI Special Ed Program Aide License: $19.73/hour (eligible for $100 license fee reimbursement after 90 days of employment)
- With DPI Teacher or Specialty License/Certification: $21.87/hour
The Special Education Assistant works with students under the supervision of certified teachers to support students with intellectual disabilities throughout the school day. Responsibilities include providing academic instruction, behavioral supports, supervision, daily living assistance, and delegated nursing tasks to students with disabilities.
