As a Technician III you will calibrate, set-up and use sophisticated and/or specialized measurement and test equipment. You will measure and record data for assigned projects, interpret the data and prepare recommendations, write reports and communicate results.
Responsibilities- Performs a variety of non-routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment.
- Fabricates prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing.
- Documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Compiles and computes a variety of engineering data; analyzes test and design data and prepares report.
- Analyzes problems and recommends solutions; expedites prototype parts or assemblies.
- Develops, prepares and makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Possesses an Associate’s in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Has five years of experience working with small and large engines, engine‑powered equipment, or industry‑related products.
- Ability to set up, calibrate and use sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment.
- Understanding of a specialized technical area.
- Demonstrated ability to learn complex engineering software.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data and create technical documentation.
- Fluent in the primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location and can read English.
- Fluent in English and the primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.
