Oracle Fusion BICC Technical Consultant

Location:

Wawatosa, WI

Duration: 12 Months Contract

We are seeking a Senior Oracle BICC Consultant with strong hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and managing data extraction pipelines from Oracle Fusion Cloud applications
. The role focuses on extracting high-volume data from Fusion modules (ERP, SCM, HCM) and delivering it to OCI Object Storage, ADW/ADB, or external data warehouses
, ensuring performance, accuracy, and reliability.

BICC Configuration & Implementation

• Configure Oracle BICC to extract data from Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (ERP, SCM, HCM)
• Set up and manage custom offerings, business objects, data filters, and Public View Objects (PVOs)
• Implement and manage full and incremental data loads

Data Pipeline Management

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines from Oracle Fusion Cloud to OCI Object Storage, ADW/ADB, or external data warehouses
• Ensure reliable data delivery and adherence to performance SLAs

Job Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor BICC extract jobs and troubleshoot failures
• Optimize job performance for large-scale, high-volume data extraction
• Ensure scheduling, execution, and delivery of data extracts run smoothly

Technical Troubleshooting

• Resolve issues related to:
• Data extraction
• Job scheduling
• Data validation and reconciliation
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes

Data Governance & Security

• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Adhere to Oracle Fusion and enterprise data security and governance standards

Automation & Integration

• Utilize REST and SOAP APIs to automate BICC workflows and extract execution
• Support Oracle SaaS integration requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle BICC (Business Intelligence Cloud Connector)

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and data structures

• Experience with
  BI Publisher and OTBI

• Proficiency in SQL and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts

• Experience with:

• OCI Object Storage

• ADW / ADB

• UCM (Universal Content Management)

• 8-10 years of overall IT experience
• 5-10 years as an Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant
• Proven experience with Oracle SaaS integrations

• Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE)
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise data environments
