We are looking for a visionary, hungry Dev Ops Engineering Manager who wants to truly transform our global engineering operations. We have a great culture, fantastic team retention, and we work with modern tech stacks like Azure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Title: Dev Ops Manager
Location: Hybrid in Wauwatosa, WI
Type: Direct Hire
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week onsite at our Wisconsin office. You will be the go‑to leader for procedural and operational efficiencies across the entire organization.
What You Bring- Big‑Picture Vision:
Proven experience managing and scaling architecture across multiple cross‑functional development teams. - Technical Toolkit:
Strong background in Azure, CI/CD tools like Team City, containerization tools like Docker, scripting, and build systems like CMake and Yocto, IaC tools like Ansible and Kotlin. - Leadership Style:
Collaborative, diplomatic, and highly adaptable to a fast‑paced environment. - Background Match: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, backed by solid individual contributor roots and supervisory experience. (Bonus points if your background includes embedded systems experience or time at companies like Foxconn, Rockwell, or GE!)
- Lead & Mentor:
Manage performance, career growth, and daily goals for your tight‑knit Dev Ops team. - Drive the
Roadmap:
Design the strategy to scale development processes for a massive, multi‑site global corporation. - Bridge the Gaps:
Act as a diplomatic liaison who can seamlessly communicate with stakeholders, developers, and solutions architects alike. - Innovate & Automate:
Implement out‑of‑the‑box automation strategies using tools like Team City, Docker, Ansible, Kotlin, and Python. - Secure & Monitor:
Oversee CI/CD pipelines, ensure top‑tier security compliance, and lead incident management and root‑cause analysis.
