Registered Nurse; RN

Registered nurses (RNs) work to promote good health and prevent illness. They educate patients and the public about various medical conditions; treat patients and help in their rehabilitation; and provide advice and emotional support to patients' families. RNs use considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services. They focus on the overall care of patients.

• 1. Perform all nursing duties in accordance with the state Nursing Act specific to the state you are working in, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.
• 2. Assesses client’s condition, initiates plan of care, re-evaluates and updates as necessary.
• 3. Monitor patient progress and identifies any changes in status, acting on those changes to insure patient comfort and safety.
• 4. Assist physicians and all healthcare professionals caring for patient, always giving a complete and thorough report on patient status at end of shift/assignment.
• 5. Perform routine nursing care to assigned patients, while utilizing age specific and universal precaution practices at all times.
• 6. Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles, and practice in order to holistically care for the patient.
• 7. Communicate with all staff, patients, and families with excellent written and verbal skills.
• 8. Comply with all facility policy and procedure, while upholding the high expectations of Celestial Care.
• 9. Supervises caregiver and client at least every 60 days or more as necessary to provide the best quality care to the client.
• 10. Willing to travel to preform duties at client residences.

• 1. Must have an A.D.N. or B.S.N. from accredited College of Nursing, accompanied by current nursing license in each state of desired practice.
• 2. One year of full-time clinical practice in each specialty area.
• 4. Current TB test
• 5. Must possess compassionate, professional, and ethical behavior.
• 6. Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English.
• 7. Must have available reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• 8. Must fulfill yearly OSHA training requirements.
• 9. Must have good personal hygiene and organizational habits.
