Omnichannel Support Captain, Mayfair - Full Time
We are looking for an Omnichannel Support Captain to lead customer service, merchandising and sales initiatives in our Mayfair store. This full‑time position typically requires 30 or more hours per week, with a schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Job OverviewAs a Selling and Support Captain, you will be an advocate for the customer and a role model for your colleagues. You will drive results through promotional and omnichannel selling initiatives and communicate expectations and priorities to teammates. Advancement opportunities include Personal Stylist or Sales and Customer Experience Manager.

Key Responsibilities- Fulfill customer orders, merchandising, processing new products, or supervising the selling floor to deliver exceptional customer service based on your Captain assignment.
- Lead colleagues in the execution and completion of assigned tasks.
- Act as a customer advocate, modeling excellent service and providing swift feedback to improve the experience.
- Ensure high‑level customer service through problem‑solving and customer‑focused resolutions.
- Promote the Macy’s mobile app to enhance the in‑store experience.
- Meet with People Leaders throughout the day to plan and monitor store activities.
- Provide continuous feedback to People Leaders that drives a positive customer experience and improves store processes.
- Perform store opening and closing procedures, including access to the alarm system and settlement of registers.
- Lead and participate in adherence to merchandise standards.
- Educate colleagues on point‑of‑sale technology, radio frequency equipment, and sales and fulfillment applications.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers and communities.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Proficient in communicating effectively with customers and providing clear direction to colleagues.
- Self‑starter who adapts quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
- Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
- 1–2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Require lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours, lift at least 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
- Reach above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop; color vision required.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash registers, and transaction processing.
