Job Description & How to Apply Below

Automotive Shop Foreman
A high‑volume, well‑run service department that needs a true leader in the bays — not a clipboard manager. This dealership is looking for an Automotive Shop Foreman who can keep workflow tight, mentor techs, solve the tough diagnostics, and ensure the shop runs with the kind of efficiency and professionalism customers actually notice. If you’re the person techs naturally come to for answers — and you want a leadership role where your experience is respected — this is that opportunity.

This shop values structure, communication, and accountability. You’ll have strong parts support, modern equipment, and a management team that backs the service department instead of bottlenecking it. The right Foreman here becomes the backbone of the shop: the problem‑solver, the pace‑setter, and the standard everyone else follows.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee daily shop workflow to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and on‑time repairs
  • Support technicians with advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair guidance
  • Perform high‑level diagnostic and repair work as needed
  • Work closely with service advisors to ensure clear communication and proper repair documentation
  • Maintain quality control standards across all repairs and maintenance
  • Train, mentor, and develop technicians at all skill levels
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
  • Assist management with process improvements and shop performance goals
What Makes You a Strong Fit
  • Extensive experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably at the dealership level
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
  • Proven leadership skills — techs trust your judgment and follow your direction
  • Ability to manage workflow, prioritize repairs, and keep the shop moving
  • Excellent communication skills with both technicians and advisors
  • Familiarity with OEM systems, scan tools, and repair procedures
  • ASE or OEM Master certifications are a strong plus
What This Role Offers
  • A respected dealership with steady workflow and strong leadership
  • Competitive pay based on experience and certifications
  • Opportunities for continued training and advancement
  • A well‑equipped shop with solid parts support
  • A leadership role where your experience and voice matter
  • A team environment built on professionalism, respect, and accountability
