Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid medical license to practice in Iowa
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological care
• Proficiency with EMR systems (system TBD)
• Strong clinical skills in OB triage, deliveries, and GYN emergencies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with high-volume obstetric services
• NICU Level 1 experience or familiarity
• Previous locum or temporary staffing experience
• Knowledge of the MHAS model and clinic/call requirements
• Bilingual abilities considered a plus

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Minimum of 2 years post-residency practice in obstetrics and gynecology
• Familiarity with EMR systems (specific system TBD)

Other Requirements:

• Coverage for clinic and call duties as per MHAS model
• Travel and licensure reimbursement as applicable
• Ability to start on 12/31/2025 and commit for the required period

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $195.00
