Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of Music, Choral/Vocal Music Education

Timeline:
Screening of applications begins immediate and continues until position is filled.
Responsibilities:
Teach courses in music education, including preparation and supervision of student teachers; conduct Wartburg choral ensembles, as assigned; support student recruitment activities; other duties based on background and experience.
Qualifications:
Required:
Masters degree; minimum of three years of K-12 vocal music public school teaching experience, with a demonstrated record of success; record of successful college level teaching experience; willingness to support the mission of the College. Preferred:
Significant experience in K-6 and/or 7-12 vocal music education; evidence of excellence in choral conducting; an interest in general education. Ph.D., Ed.D. or DMA.
