Project Engineer - Capital Projects & Fixed Assets
SummaryWe are seeking a Project Engineer to oversee capital investment projects related to fixed assets, including asset relocation, optimization, and acquisition from concept development through project completion. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company engineering, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Lead capital investment projects related to fixed assets, including asset relocation, optimization, and acquisition from concept to project completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with engineering, quality, and safety standards.
- Project engineering and plant design
- Equipment procurement and contracts
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
- Financial analysis and CAPEX budgeting
- Communication and networking
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline)
- 5+ years of engineering or project management experience
- Knowledge of plant design, CAPEX projects, equipment procurement, and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and Visio
