Summary
As an E&C Technician, you'll help keep our manufacturing operations running safely and reliably by maintaining and improving electrical and control systems across the plant. You'll troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support upgrades that improve equipment performance and reduce downtime. Working alongside mechanics, operators, and engineers, this role plays an important part in safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday (some weekends), 12am – 8am
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and automation systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical, controls, and automation issues, including PLCs, networks, drives, and safety devices Support equipment improvements through control changes and system upgrades Assist mechanics and operators with diagnosing control-related problems, train less skilled personnel Write, modify, and maintain moderate to complex control programs Maintain system backups and keep electrical schematics and documentation up to date Participate in planned shutdowns, electrical distribution work, and capital or major maintenance projects Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation systems, and keep related documentation up to date Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and environmental requirements at all times
Requirements2-year Electrical Technician degree or equivalent experience Ability to read and understand safety procedures and work instructions Proficiency in: RS Linx, RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, Factory Talk View, Device Net, Ether Net, Data Highway, Microsoft Windows, LOTO, 480V troubleshooting, electrical symbols/prints, NFPA 70e Physical requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, sit, stand, move throughout your shift, good hearing and eyesight, and the ability to work in varying temperatures
Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems, PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, servo systems, safety relays, and control panels Familiarity with Rockwell platforms including RS Logix 5000 and Factory Talk, as well as lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, 480V systems, and NFPA 70e electrical safety standards Experience with Allen Bradley hardware and software and common industrial networks Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and documentation skills Team focused approach with attention to detail, reliability, and a continuous learning mindset
