Role Overview

Responsible for providing comprehensive resident care, assessments, and ensuring resident-centered care within the facility's scope of practice. Coordinates treatment plans, administers medications, and performs general nursing duties across all facility areas, adhering to legal and organizational policies.

Conducts resident rounds and chart reviews, documents accurately, and updates care plans. Administers medications, assists with feeding, and performs procedures such as catheterizations and dressing changes. Ensures compliance with safety standards, maintains proper communication, and supports quality improvement initiatives. Oversees staff performance, ensures proper staffing, and manages incident reports. Facilitates resident admissions, discharges, and appointment scheduling. Maintains confidentiality and promotes a culture of safety and quality care.

Must demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles, resident assessment, and appropriate nursing interventions. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential. Ability to handle emergencies, work collaboratively, and maintain professionalism is required. Familiarity with regulatory standards, documentation, and medication administration is also necessary.
