Role Overview

Responsible for providing comprehensive resident care, assessments, and ensuring resident-centered services within a healthcare facility. Ensures quality care by following policies, procedures, and licensing standards, and performs nursing duties across all facility areas under supervision.

• Conduct resident rounds, monitor health status, and address family and physician issues.
• Administer medications, assist with feeding, and perform clinical procedures such as dressing changes, catheterizations, and blood draws.
• Review and update care plans, ensure documentation accuracy, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, ensure compliance with safety and infection control practices, and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and physicians, and handle emergencies tactfully.
• Manage resident admissions, discharges, and coordinate appointments and transportation.
• Support regulatory compliance, maintain confidentiality, and promote a culture of safety and quality of care.

• Current nursing license and knowledge of growth and development principles.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies, supervise staff, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
