Accounting Now is working with a leading North American manufacturing organization is hiring a Payroll Tax & Compliance Specialist to oversee U.S. and Canadian payroll tax compliance.
Key responsibilities:- Manage multi-state payroll tax compliance, filings, deposits, and reconciliations
- Resolve tax notices, discrepancies, and agency issues
- Support W-2, T4, and RL-1 reporting
- Reconcile payroll tax accounts to the general ledger
- Manage ADP Smart Compliance activities
- Strengthen payroll tax controls, processes, and audit readiness
- 5+ years of payroll tax/compliance or senior payroll experience
- Strong U.S. federal, state, and local payroll tax knowledge
- Canadian payroll tax experience preferred
- ADP Smart Compliance experience strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel and strong reconciliation skills
Ennis, TX | Flexible start between 7–9 AM | Up to 10 WFH days/year
