Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is based out of our Waxahachie office, with the expectation that travel to job sites will be required. While experience in cement plant environments is preferred due to the nature of our current workload, qualified candidates from other industrial construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Position Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from estimating through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires a hands‑on professional who can accurately estimate work, manage project costs, coordinate procurement activities, and effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates and proposals.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and scope requirements.
• Conduct site visits as necessary to develop project budgets and schedules.
• Collaborate with operations and field personnel to ensure estimates are realistic and achievable.
• Monitor project budgets and job costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track labor, equipment, subcontractor, and material expenditures.
• Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare project status reports and financial updates for management.

Procurement

• Procure materials, equipment, and supplies required for project execution.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and supplier quotes.
• Coordinate delivery schedules to support project timelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Project Management

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from award through closeout.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and project teams.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, field personnel, and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and project requirements.
• Resolve project issues proactively to minimize impacts to schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience managing industrial construction or maintenance projects.
• Strong estimating experience with the ability to develop project budgets and proposals.
• Experience with cost tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of procurement and vendor management practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Cement plant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
