Job Title
Under general supervision primarily provides planning, transportation, and assistance to youth programs. Reports to the JJAEP Administrator, Deputy Director and Director of Juvenile Services.
Examples of Duties• High School diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate, experience working with youth preferred.
• Must be eligible to be certified as a Community Activities Officer (CAO) by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.
• Must hold a valid Texas driver license and liability insurance coverage.
• Driving record must reflect acceptable rating by Ellis County to operate a county vehicle.

PERSONAL DAY
Employees receive one 8-hour personal day after completing 6 months of employment.
After the first six months of employment, employees will accrue one 8-hour personal day on January 1st of each consecutive year.
