Quality Control Technician

RDT is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician. You will be successful in this position if you get, want, and have the capacity to do the following duties:

• Test and inspect condensing units and evaporator coils for each refrigeration system before it leaves our warehouse.
• Test and inspect sub-assemblies (i.e., controller wiring & programming, piping sub-assemblies, electrical sub-assemblies, condenser fan sub-assemblies, etc.).
• Take pictures and complete all documentation required for our Quality Assurance files.
• Maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, or technical drawings.
• Participate in cross functional teams to improve products and processes.

• 2+ years of experience in the refrigeration equipment industry.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Possess good judgement.
• Ability to make sound decisions.
• Knowledgeable of safety, quality, and productivity processes.
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Understands safety protocol.
• Use MS office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
