Operating Room Supervisor
Assess patient's condition before surgery. Ensure that the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment. Keep the operating room sterilized. Pass medical instruments to the surgeons during operation. Monitor patient's vital signs. Evaluate postoperative patients. Reviews charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure. Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards.

You'll need a thorough understanding of nursing practices and patient care protocols. The ability to express oneself clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing. Prior experience in creating patient care plans and managing private information. Aptitude with computers for efficient documentation and task management. The capability to guide and influence the work of a team to meet goals. Aptitude in the recruitment process, carrying out performance appraisals, and nurturing team growth and development.
