Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry (Days)

Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital – Waxahachie is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Telemetry team. This role supports inpatient nursing care with a focus on telemetry monitoring and pre/post procedural cardiac care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Waxahachie, TX

Schedule:

Full-Time, Days Shift: 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Provide pre- and post-procedural care for cardiac and vascular patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold BSWH standards of care

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-Time (36 hours/week) 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts) Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Inpatient hospital setting with cardiac-focused care/Pre and Post care

Required Qualifications

• Experience in telemetry and inpatient nursing care
• Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular patient care
• Ability to assess and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Active RN license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with post-cath sheath management
• Knowledge of immediate post-procedure care
