Job Title: Quality Control Inspector I
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Shift: Night Shift: Monday-Thursday 4pm-2:30am (Mandatory OT as needed)
Training: Day Shift: Mon-Thursday 6am-4:30pm (Mandatory OT as needed)
Summary/Scope of Role: Responsible for ensuring products meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance as based upon defined specifications agreed upon by the client and the Company, as well as per ISO
9001 and AS9100 standards and guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follows quality control policies and procedures.
- Perform first part, work in-process, and final inspections of parts, assemblies, and finished products to verify conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Perform dimensional inspections on cases and frames to verify: (Inside, outside, overall dimensions). Document inspection results using inspection forms, work travelers.
- Identify and report nonconforming material, assist in separating and documentation of nonconforming products using (NCR Forms).
- Review and interpret blueprints drawings, work instructions, and quality documentation. Conducts and monitors testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
- Inspect vendor supplied products to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Responsible for conducting work items and tasks by utilizing company-specific, AS9100/ ISO
9001-required document management systems. - Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/
Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with sheet metal and/or machining precision fabrication.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficient in the use of inspection tools such as calipers and tape measures.
- Basic computer skills and experience with excel and word.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills.
