Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats. Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses. Provides assistance to members by answering questions and recommending products. Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Provides assistance to members by answering questions and making product recommendations.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds; may assist the meat cutter and grind hamburger meat.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Ensures that all accessories and displays are fully stocked and rotated according to expiration dates.
• Receives and unpacks meat, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses in cooler and freezer areas.
• Clears and sanitizes all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintains regular, predictable, full attendance.

• Previous experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic or hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

• Frequent movement on hard surfaces, bending, reaching, and stooping required.
• Requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; may require lifting heavier objects with assistance.
• Indoor work with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes, loud noises, and cleaning agents.

In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good‑faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. Actual salaries vary by location, education, experience, and qualifications. The starting pay range is $17.00 per hour.
