Head Cashier

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead the front-end team and ensure an exceptional checkout experience. In this role, you will supervise cashiers, manage registers, oversee cash handling, and resolve customer issues with a friendly, service-driven approach. You'll train team members, monitor lines, maintain accurate tills, and support store promotions. Ideal candidates bring strong POS skills, attention to detail, and a passion for natural foods, teamwork, and healthy living in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support front-end cashiers during all shifts
• Ensure accurate cash handling, drawer balancing, and deposits
• Operate and troubleshoot POS systems and registers
• Deliver friendly, efficient checkout service to all customers
• Train, coach, and mentor new and existing cashiers
• Monitor lines, adjust staffing, and maintain store service standards
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when needed
• Support implementation of promotions, sales, and in-store campaigns
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe front-end work areas
• Collaborate with store management to improve front-end processes
