Meat​/Seafood Manager

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat/Seafood Manager to lead our fresh department in Food & Beverage Operations. In this on-site role, you'll oversee cutting, merchandising, and food safety for high-quality meat and seafood, manage ordering, inventory, and shrink, and guide a team in delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. You'll ensure regulatory compliance, maintain attractive displays, and partner with store leaders on promotions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the meat and seafood department to Sprouts quality standards.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, proper rotation, and regulatory compliance.
• Cut, trim, package, and merchandise meat and seafood to maximize sales and minimize shrink.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and in-stock levels based on sales trends.
• Train, schedule, and coach team members while fostering an inclusive, customer-first culture.
• Engage shoppers, answer product questions, and support healthy, sustainable choices.
• Analyze sales, margins, and waste to meet department profit goals.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and cases for cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal.
• Partner with store leadership on promotions, pricing, and product selection.
• Support community and company initiatives aligned with natural, organic living.
