Utility Worker I Salary Range Utility Worker I $51,486.47 - $72,081.06 (DOQ)

Utility Worker II Salary Range Utility Plant Operator $56,763.84 - $79,469.37 (DOQ)

Education, Training, and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED

Licenses and Certifications:

• A valid State driver's license is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Class "D" Water Works License & Class "I" Wastewater Collection License issued by TCEQ within 12 months of hire

Education, Training and Experience:

• HS diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years of utilities related experiences, preferably in a municipality.

Licenses and Certificates:

• A valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License is required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Possession of a valid Class I Wastewater Collection and Class "D" Water License issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
• Must obtain Class II Wastewater Collection OR Class "C" Water License issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) within 12 months of hire.
