Part-Time Victim / ICT Coordinator
The Part-Time Victim / ICT Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and supporting the Program / Victim / ICT Manager with assigned programs, victim assistance and transfer of intercounty or interstate cases.
The Part-Time Victim / ICT Coordinator works collaboratively with Juvenile Services staff, youth, families, courts, community organizations, service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure assigned programs operate effectively and in accordance with departmental policies, applicable Texas laws, Texas Administrative Code requirements, and departmental standards.
Reports to the Program / Victim / ICT Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with law enforcement agencies, prosecuting attorney's, victims of juvenile crimes, social service agencies, and the judiciary in delivering support to crime victims;
- Acts as a liaison with other County Victim Services.
- Provides victims with juvenile crime victim forms, assists victims with completing paperwork and distributes pertinent information to the Juvenile Prosecutor.
- Provides victims information regarding compensation that may be available to victims as provided by Chapter 56 of the Code of Criminal Procedure;
Maintains information pertaining to the Victim Impact Statements and Juvenile Crime Victim Compensation Applications. - Notifies victims of all necessary Court Hearings and accompany the victims to Court
- Maintains professional communication with victims and responds to all inquiries in regard to pending cases
- Receives incoming request for Interim Supervision, review paperwork to ensure all documents are provided;
- Maintain communication with sending and receiving counties as needed to ensure all persons are aware of required timelines.
- Assist with other duties related to programs, intercounty and interstate transfers
- Maintain spreadsheets
