Warehouse Associate

Overview

The warehouse associate will be involved in the daily operation of the warehouse; order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory control and operation of warehouse equipment and computer systems. The associate must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Fluency in English reading and verbal communication is required  you don’t meet every single requirement, that’s okay – we still want to hear from you!

• Adhere to Fanatics Code of Conduct and Core Values.
• Manually unload stock from sea containers and trucks.
• Stock location / stock put away.
• Access the Warehouse Management System using computer systems.
• Operate warehouse equipment (push cart, hand truck, manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, order picker).
• Operate RF scan gun and pick, verify, and pack customer orders.
• Participate in inventory control processes and ensure inventories are accurate.
• Generate shipping labels from warehouse systems or carrier databases.
• Prepare palletized stock for outbound shipping (stacking boxes on pallets, shrink-wrapping, labeling pallets and boxes).
• Contribute to general health and safety practices and training; support general housekeeping.
• Assist warehouse manager in daily operations in line with company policy and vision.
• Train, mentor, and coach new warehouse personnel in procedures and company vision.
• Assist in planning future capacity requirements and ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
• Promote company health and safety policies.

Work Environment
This position works in an environment where safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention. You will be frequently exposed to a warehouse setting and may encounter a variety of weather conditions. Noise levels vary and must comply with hearing protection requirements.

Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds. Must be on feet for 8-10 hours per day/shift.

Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

No travel is required for this position.

  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required:
  
  1 year warehouse experience.

• Forklift certification.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS.

• Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  Full-time
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Monday – Friday. Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required during peak season.
• Position Pay Rate: $19.00
