- Salary range of $18+ per hour based on experience
- 9-hour workday with a 1-hour lunch break

- Supervise classroom and co-lead all classroom activities throughout the course of the day
- Observe children’s interests and work with co-teachers to develop creative ideas for implementing the Wonder of Learning curriculum
- Develop weekly lesson plans alongside our Curriculum Coordinator
- Feel a sense of accomplishment as you experience the laughter and wonder of children participating in activities you planned
- Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions
- Engage with other childcare professionals and continue to grow in your profession
- Associate/Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred;
Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred - At least 1 year of teaching experience in a classroom setting
- At least 1 year of experience working with infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Works cooperatively alongside all co-teachers and school resource teachers
- Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures
- Is highly motivated and takes direction well
- Ability to complete weekly lesson plans and carry them out within the classroom
- Must be committed to following Goddard and state licensing guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and education of all children
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Qualifying letter from NC DCDEE (We will help you apply if you do not already have one!)
