• Support the Manager of Youth and Family Ministries in developing and executing youth program strategies.
• Support leadership in meeting organizational goals.
• Direct and manage weekly high school youth group programs.
• Direct and manage other scheduled activities, special events and programs during the year for high school.
• Prepare lessons for youth group meetings and schedule facilitators as needed.
• Ensure child safety protocols and policies are adhered to at all times at all High school events and activities.
• Disciple/mentor the High School Leadership Team.
• Coordinate with Guys and Girls Discipleship Coordinators to disciple/mentor High school students.
• Inform students and parents of resources available to them, such as pastoral counseling, support groups, and other professional support organizations.
• Assist in developing and managing High school youth program budgets.

• A deep and growing walk with the Lord Jesus that includes your personal spiritual growth and the ability to support others in their spiritual growth.
• Embrace the vision, mission, and core values of JAARS.
• Bachelor's degree in education, youth ministry, or other related fields.
• Have 5 years of relevant experience in youth ministry.
• Have a heart for and a good understanding of third-culture kids (TCKs) and their needs.
• Patient and able to handle challenging situations.
• Have the ability to lead and motivate a team and influence others through godly character, integrity, and conviction.
• Able to develop and give clear briefings and training presentations.
• Willingness to attend ongoing training on ministering to TCK/MK.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and technology.
