RN Ambulatory Specialty Lead - Pediatrics

Job Overview

Novant Health Child & Adolescent Medical Group - Waxhaw is seeking a full‑time RN Ambulatory Specialty Lead.

Work schedule:

Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm. In this role you will lead daily operations by coordinating staff schedules, onboarding and training new employees, providing ongoing education and support, performing triage, managing supply ordering and floating or covering CMAs as needed. You’ll work in a close‑knit, supportive environment focused on high‑quality, team‑based care.

• Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Conduct onboarding and training for new employees.
• Provide ongoing training, support, and development for current staff.
• Perform triage duties and prioritize patient or workflow needs.
• Oversee and manage supply ordering to maintain inventory levels.
• Provide occasional support for CMAs to support provider schedules.

• Education:
  
  Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required).
• Bachelor’s degree, 4‑year, preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state (required).
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, leadership and problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency with a personal computer (required).
