Position OverviewThe Shop & Equipment Part Runner will work closely with the Shop, Milling, Asphalt, and Maintenance Teams to ensure company-owned parts, tools, equipment and vehicles are stocked at the required locations throughout eastern Georgia with direction provided by his/her direct manager.
The ideal candidate has experience with the understanding of paving equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Transport parts and equipment between various locations throughout eastern Georgia for pickups and deliveries.
- Assist with organization and inventory of parts
- Assist with ensuring that the shop area is neat, clean and orderly, all tools are stored in their proper place, the shop surfaces are free of trash and debris.
- Take part in washing and cleaning equipment as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as may be assumed or assigned from time to time in support of our company's effort to achieve client loyalty.
- Applicant must be 18+ years of age
- Active GA driver's license with clean record required

- Must demonstrate professional communication in reaching out to employees and managers for needed documents
- Willingness to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as they arise
- Exhibit excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize various tasks and complete them in a timely manner
- Able to perform duties independently
- Working knowledge of asphalt production and associated equipment, and an understanding of operations and safety requirements is preferred
- Familiarity with MSHA and OSHA regulations, a plus
- Be available for overtime, extended hours, night shifts, and weekends as required
- Travel WILL be required as our operations span throughout eastern Georgia
- Work will be performed in both a general warehouse environment as well as a construction site and roadside environments, which could include but not be limited to inclement weather, heat and humidity, exposure to dust and asphalt, and active roadways.
- Must be able to move over rough terrain on project sites
- Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
- Proper PPE is required at all times.
- Requires periodic participation and attendance at company events and meetings
- This position is FULL TIME
