Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

$2219.52/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Medical Surgical unit. The RN will deliver comprehensive patient care, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and perform procedural tasks according to unit protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech Expanse.
• Collaborate with unit staff, including unit secretaries and techs, to coordinate care.
• Perform safety rounds and communicate effectively during bedside shift reports.
• Float to other Med Surg units, ED, ICU, or PCU as needed, adhering to policy.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• BLS certification must be current.
• Demonstrate advanced skills in caring for general Med Surg patients.
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotation holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
