Role Description This full-time, on-site Low Voltage Technician role is based in Waycross, GA. The Low Voltage Technician installs, configures, and maintains security systems such as intrusion alarms, access control, fire protection, and video surveillance equipment. Examples of day-to-day responsibilities include running and terminating low-voltage cabling, mounting and wiring devices, and troubleshooting issues in the field. The role involves collaborating with technicians, documenting work performed, and ensuring all installations meet company standards, safety regulations, and applicable codes.

The technician will also provide basic customer support, explain system functions, and perform routine preventative maintenance visits.

• Strong electrical and low-voltage troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of wiring, circuits, meters, and basic electrical principles.
• Familiarity with alarm systems, cameras, access control, fire alarm, or similar equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and ladders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
• Previous low-voltage or related field experience preferred; certifications are a plus.
