• Consistency:
  Monday-Friday 6:00-7:30am start time to help our team and customers

As a key representative of Airgas, the delivery driver contributes to the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company provided CDL B vehicle. This position involves loading, unloading, and returning compressed gas cylinders and Dewars while frequently connecting with Airgas customers.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders, Dewars & supplies
• Nurture courteous & professional relationships with customers
• Support deliveries in a timely manner
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders
• Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart; position is physically active and hands‑on
• Drivers frequently move in and out of their vehicle

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT (or able to obtain within 60 days) & Airbrake endorsements
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two traffic convictions or at‑fault accidents as specified
• No driving under influence of alcohol or controlled substances within last seven years
• Must work in a drug‑free environment
• Can regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with aid of material handling equipment
• One year of CDL driving experience in last 5 years or proof of certificate from trucking school completed in last 12 months

• Forklift experience
